Hi. I am Mark Abbott. I have over two decades of experience with early stage, small and mid-sized companies as a lender, an investor, and a business builder. While I have had the good fortune to enjoy considerable success as a lender and an investor, my deep passion has always been about building enduring businesses, helping entrepreneurs get more of what they want out of their businesses, and helping individuals succeed.
I now spend significant time helping entrepreneurial leadership teams master the Entrepreneurial Operating System. I became a huge EOS fan after being one of its clients during an interim COO engagement. I was so blown away by how simple, holistic and effective the system is that I decided that the best way I could help entrepreneurial teams - as either a mentor or an investor- was to become an EOS Implementer.

EOS is the Entrepreneurial Operating System: a set of simple, yet effective, tools that help entrepreneurs get more of what they want from their businesses. EOS uses a proven process that helps leadership teams do three things we call Vision, Traction, and Healthy.
Vision centers on making sure leaders and their teams are 100% on the same page with where the organization is, where it's going and how it’s going to get there. Traction helps leaders become more disciplined and accountable to help enable them to better execute their vision. Getting Healthy means helping leaders and their teams become a functional, cohesive leadership team.
The goal of EOS is to give you the proven tools needed to focus your entire organization on a crystal clear and common vision, to make everyone on the team more disciplined and accountable in executing that vision - gaining traction towards achieving it - and creating a healthy, functional, cohesive organization optimally suited to achieving exceptional performance as a result.
The EOS Story
The EOS Model
The EOS Model provides a visual illustration of the Six Key Components of any business that must be managed and strengthened to be a great business. This model applies to big and small businesses alike, in any industry.
The Key Components include Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction.
The EOS Process
Our proven process is simple, effective, and leads to real results. We use a unique combination of teaching, facilitating, and coaching. There’s no theory, no magic pills, and no flavor of the month. We use timeless principles that have been proven to make organizations great. Our process has been used by over 500 leadership teams across the U.S.
EOS has the power to transform your business, and is different from a traditional business consulting model that strives to create a recurring goal of increasing billable days. Whereas consultants focus on creating dependency, EOS Implementers create self sufficiency. After completing your first EOS process cycle our goal is to build the capability within your organization to manage the process on your own.
